    IICS’s Training department offers an outstanding and valuable service for the benefit of local industry, empowering plant engineers and technicians to manage logic modifications, troubleshoot and maintain their own automation systems.

  • Training Instructors

    Our highly skilled and experienced team of instructors conducts training on a variety of processes. The courses utilize simulation of industrial plants models using SCADA, PLCs, instruments and equipment. A comprehensive set of information material is effectively and gradually transmitted to the trainees.

  • Fields of Training

    We offer engineers and technicians of various levels of expertise the opportunity to build up their automation skills. The range of courses on offer includes training on SCADA, HMI, PLCs, RTUs, Industrial Data Buses and Communications (for example, Profibus and Ethernet), from beginners to advanced level. An integrated course covering the above disciplines is also offered.

Course Description

S7 SERVICE 1

For service/maintenance personnel who install or maintain automation systems and their application programs. Upon completion, the participant will be able to identify the components and performance characteristics of SIMATIC S7, install a PLC system, and diagnose and repair simple hardware problems.

S7 SERVICE 2

For service/maintenance personnel who are interested in solving a variety of SIMATIC S7 tasks and have attended S7 SERVICE 1 course. Upon completion, participants will be familiar with the ways you can use different block types (FC, FB, OB, DB), with the principles of analogue value processing, and able to eliminate software errors.

S7 SERVICE 3

Software troubleshooting and fault rectification for service/maintenance personnel. Upon completion, the participant will be able to commission a simulated assembly line program and eliminate software errors.

S7 PROGRAMMING 1

The optimal entry-level course for users who program other vendors’ PLCs and seek to migrate their skills onto SIMATIC S7. Upon completion, the participant will be able to write programs and diagnose errors using the S7 software package.

S7 PROGRAMMING 2

For users engaged in project engineering who would like to become familiar with the extended programming possibilities of SIMATIC S7. Upon completion, the participant will be able to write advanced programs, use program breakpoints to test program operations, and diagnose errors.

S7 PROGRAMMING 3

For users engaged in project engineering who would like to become familiar with the complex programming possibilities of SIMATIC S7 and who would like to build on their knowledge of previous programming courses. Upon completion, the participant will be able to structure and create complex S7 programs.
